We are a small community in North East Arnhemland NT and have amazing basket weavers. We are looking at doing 2 day cultural experiences with a maximum of 4 people, the trip would involve collecting pandanus and bush dyes to make the amazing baskets and mats the women make... could this generate the same interest as Desert Womens Business? The accomodation is a 2 bedroom demountable and would involve a power point presentation with the ladies, followed by a 1 day bush trip into Arnhemland with the ladies, followed by a basket weaving workshop.

We here in tweed heads are working on getting Indigenous Women together to learn from eachother as we find it hard to find teachers here on the coast. I am hoping to one day travel and be a part of this. Hopefully in the next two years i have enough saved to afford the trip xx thank you for sharing
